Wizard City Summary

So a summary of Wizard City
What can I say?

For a starting area it is great. Every new player starts here so its always packed with new friends to make or people to help you on a quest. It is also 1 of the 9 worlds within the game.

Wizard City has 13 areas with 8 being accessible to everyone. The rest are accessed by paying for Crowns or Membership. Crowns are the In-game currency on Wizard101 and with Crowns the game expands by so much.

The areas accessible by everyone are:

Unicorn Way          Triton Avenue
The Commons        Golem Court
Olde Town             Ravenwood
Shopping District    Pet Pavilion
Nightside

The areas accessible by Crowns or Membership are:

Cyclops Lane             Firecat Alley
Colossus Boulevard

The places:

Ravenwood

Ravenwood is the area in which you learn your spells in a collection of schools. You have a base school which you were given when you made your character. You can then learn any spell in another school by using Training Points.

Training Points:

Training are the points you use to buy spells from a school. You do not need to spend any on spells from your base school. You receive Training Points from leveling up.

From Levels 1-20 you will gain them every 4 levels
From Levels 20-50 you gain them every 5 levels

You also gain them from a few quests such as Enrollment and Prospector Zeke quests

You should take care using them as to buy them back it costs 350 crowns per point after spending 3. This means if you spent 4 Training Points in a school it will cost you 350 Crowns to buy them back and 700 Crowns if you spend 5 Training Points.

Shopping District:

The Shopping District is an area which holds all the shops needed in Wizard City. From Hats to Robes and Wands to Boots. It also has a Pet shop which sells Dragons and Unicorns.

Unicorn Way:

Unicorn Way is the first area given to players to take on quests and get the feel of battles after the tutorial. It has much to offer for new players and includes a couple of boss fights.

The Commons:

After completing the tutorial your character gets sent here. This is where most people will be and is a great place to make friends and ask for help. If you run low on Health and Mana you can rest here to regain Health. To regain Mana you will need to go to the fairground and play Mini-Games or find the small blue orbs which you can collect.

Olde Town:

Olde Town is home to Triton Avenue, Firecat Alley and Cyclops Lane and The Bazaar

The Bazaar:

The Bazaar is like a auction house in Wizard City. If you need to find anything be Hats or Wands you will find it here. Prices will vary but almost everything you find will be cheap enough for you to buy.

Pet Pavilion:

After gaining a pet such as a Dragon or Unicorn, you can go to the Pet Pavilion. In the Pet Pavilion you have Mini-Games designed for your pet to level it up. A pet has 5 levels: Baby, Teen, Adult, Ancient and Epic.

Golem Court:

Home to Mr.Lincoln who will let you buy back your Training Points after hitting level 12
It also holds a small tower of 5 levels in which you can get a Badge if you complete all 5 floors without leaving.

Badges:

Badges are achieved by doing certain tasks and will show under your name if you equip them. You can access and equip them by going to Character (C) and finding the Badges tab at the top.

Firecat Alley:

A Crown area in Wizard City. It costs 750 Crowns to enter and has 13 quests to level you up more
Enemies are of the Fire School so Frost Students have an advantage here.

Cyclops Lane:

Along with Firecat Alley, Cyclops Lane is a Crown area and costs 750 Crowns and also has 13 quests.
Enemies are of the Myth School so Storm Student will have a easier time here then other schools.

Triton Avenue:

A free area in Wizard City. Many people will be here after completing the quest Defeat The Kraken as this opens up the Kraken boss fight.
Enemies are of the Storm School so Myth will have an easier time here.

Nightside:

A free area. But requires both Firecat Alley and Cyclops Lane quests to be complete. Nightside is home to the Death School and will open up more spells to Death Students. Players without Crowns can get into Nightside by having a friend who can go into it. This will allow the free player to then teleport to their friend.
